This publication gives us a critical appraisal of Tagorean Gold-Human relationship in
Gitanjali. Although it mainly focuses on the philosophy of religion , its aim is to portray
God-Human relationship as a direct, personal and joyful relationship between devotee and
Lord, that is to say, it is an equal and reciprocal relationship between God and man. Hence,
the conventional understanding of God, man, religion and God-Human relationship have
been overruled and a new approach and orientation have been proposed.
